Sharing Yiddish language and culture with future generations
Who are we?
The Penina Zylberman Yiddish Cultural Trust is a public tax deductible fund established in memory of Penina Zylberman, a young girl who passed away in Melbourne at the age of 9 years old who dreamt of being a Yiddish teacher.
The Trust provides a bridge for young generations to enjoy Yiddish culture and provides prizes and encouragement for young students to undertake Yiddish cultural studies at Primary and Secondary Schools. It is also a host organisation of Yidish Sof-Vokh Oystralye.

As a part of the work of the Trust, we welcome submissions from members of the public year-round to support projects which align with our purpose and mission. Submissions may be made in writing via the contact box below.
